Who Runs the Helpline

The Helpline is run by women for women – staffed by a team of experienced volunteers and paid workers. We also have a part time Community Helpline Language Service (CHLS) Supervisor who can speak Urdu & Punjabi.

All volunteers and paid workers receive domestic abuse awareness training and are trained in listening and supporting women who are experiencing domestic abuse. The CHLS Supervisor and Helpline Co-ordinator individually support all volunteers.
